What patients say on Google
“I couldn’t be more displeased. Butt’s was 40 minutes late for my first two appointments and TWO HOURS LATE for my 3rd, which was my final appointment as this was my last straw. My first appointment (in person) that he was 40 minutes behind on at 7 p.m. appointment (I had to be up the next day at 5 a.m.). He spent the first HOUR trying to sell me on Ketamine (which I don’t want at all) and some other therapy that’s a metal plate on your head. The only thing he knew about me walking in was I have depression and wanted help with medication management. I didn’t get a word in for an hour. I didn’t want anything he was trying to sell me, but I couldn’t tell him that because I couldn’t get a word in for an hour. So now it’s 9:30 at night, and he started the questions. I answered about 3-4 questions, and he started me on a mood stabilizer my first appointment. Since it was coming up on 10pm he ended my first appointment after the 4 questions, then asked me when I’d like to come back, and I said as soon as possible so we can get over this first appointment so we can figure this out. The next appointment was 3 days later, where he was 40 minutes late again (over the phone), and he asked me a couple of questions, then said he sent me some tests and asked me to complete them, and he started me on another pill in the morning. All I knew was it was an energy pill? And upped the other pill because I still wasn’t any better. The third and final appointment, as stated above, Butt’s was 2 hours late (appointment over the phone again), then after being 2 hours late, and I’m finally in the call, he messages me “one moment please 👏🏻” so I was short with him and asked what’s wrong with me, and he uploaded my report, told me how to read it, then said “well, go over it, never time” and I told him I couldn’t sleep and I’m not happy with the meds, and he said “oh, I can’t do anything with your meds yet, we need another appointment”. So I paid $120 for 3 appointments that he actually talked to me about my problems for probably at max 30 minutes. Also, he kept telling me “oh, you’re so smart,” which came off as odd. I will not be going back, and I’m very disappointed on wasting my time and money and still have the original problem. On top of him being very unprofessional the office itself is very hole in the wall. If 0 stars were an option I’d rate them that.”
“Dr. Butt is awesome! He's helped me more than any other doc I've seen. If you struggle with anxiety or depression & have seen other providers without results, I highly recommend you give him a try! His staff are very friendly & caring too.”
“I cannot put into words how much Dr. Butt has helped me with my mental health. I have seen plenty of doctors and therapists trying to learn how to live with my depression and anxiety; they gave me Lexapro and told me to talk to someone. When it didn’t help, I felt like it was my fault these interventions weren’t working--as if I wasn't trying hard enough in therapy. I just thought that this was my life now and tried to accept it as my norm. Dr. Butt has worked with me for months doing different assessments and trying different medications. You can tell that he cares very much for his patients and doesn't want anyone to suffer needlessly. He helped me realize that their is help for me; that I'm not a hopeless case. He listens and empowers me by giving me options and supporting my decisions. I'm very thankful to have him as a psychiatrist and I recommend him to everyone, especially those who don't feel heard by their doctors.”
“Dr. Butt is so patient, understanding, and helpful. He educates you on the treatments very well and doesn't make you feel like you have any stupid questions. He's beyond experienced with medications and treatments. I've only been seeing him for a week and I feel better than I have in over a decade. I feel like my happy self again. I'm so glad a took the chance to be treated by Dr. Butt!”
