“Absolutely wonderful experience at Vera French Duck Creek Plaza. The receptionists are always so friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the moment you walk in. The office feels clean, organized, and comfortable, which really helps put people at ease. One thing I really appreciate is how easy it is to get in and out quickly without dealing with stressful parking or long walks — there’s plenty of parking available right by the entrance. The staff genuinely seem to care about people and treat everyone with kindness and respect. Highly recommend this location to anyone looking for quality care in a convenient and welcoming environment. The clinic is located at Duck Creek Plaza in Bettendorf and is known for improving accessibility and creating a warm, welcoming environment for clients.”
“I was very skeptical about coming here, or any Vera French. As the reviews weren’t the greatest by any means, not to mention stigma and perception. I am skeptical of any mental health facilities and reluctant. However the staff at both locations, and especially here have been nothing but excellently patient, accommodating, kind, helpful, and knowledgeable to the best of their ability. I may not have made the progress back to stability that I did, as smoothly, efficiently, and rapidly, without their help. There were other factors as well (outside help and work, by the Grace of God) but still, I’d been to two other facilities before this one, and left without much progress, real evaluations or even knowledge of what was happening to me. In one case, I even left a little worse than I went in. At any facility though, it’s what you make of it to some extent like much in life, but from the moment I entered Vera French duck creek and sat down for my one on one’s with them, I felt safe, comfortable, and a lot more willing to trust. I’m still a work in progress, it’s an ongoing thing (always be improving) but my trust has been rewarded. Thank you staff, from the bottom of my heart, the depths of my soul. Many of you have touched me, from the front desk, to the nurses to the aids to the therapists and psychologists. You all know who you are, hold your heads with pride— whether or not I see you again soon, thank you for making a difference. God Bless, The Prodigal Sun (Alfred The Gold)”
“I have a 45 minute drive and have to take time off of work and my son has to miss school for our therapy sessions. Last month we drove all of the way there, paid our copay and were sent upstairs to the waiting room. 20 minutes later I went back downstairs to see what was going on and come to find out our therapist had taken the day off! All we got was a sorry. Fast forward yesterday we drive up again, paid our copay and were sent upstairs to the waiting room. 15 minutes go by and I’m like ok what is going on, so I go back downstairs only to have the receptionist tell me I’m so sorry i forgot to check you in so your therapist is going to have to reschedule?! Seriously?! Our appointments are 45 minutes long and usually we will talk for the first few minutes before we begin anyway. I have no idea why the therapist wanted to reschedule and wouldn’t see us. This kind of business is not good for anyone. My son and I look forward to these sessions as we are trying very hard to get through this and then he is devastated when we drive all of the way there and he misses school only to have the receptionist forget to alert us that the therapist had the day off and by the way these appointments are made weeks in advance and then yesterday forget to check us in? I called back to talk to someone about it and it was a different lady who was very nice to me on the phone and said I had every right to be upset and that I needed to speak to Denise. She put through to her voicemail because she was in a meeting yesterday morning and I left her a message. After not hearing anything back by late afternoon yesterday I called back and asked for Denise and the receptionist said I can give you her voicemail she is in a meeting so I left her another voicemail and still haven’t gotten a call back.”
“I come here for med management, and Kiara does a great job and is very thoughtful, thorough & kind.”
