What patients say on Google

“They didn’t see me. Just a checklist with shoes, a posture to analyze, a silence to fill with assumptions. Their eyes moved first— head to toe, toe to head— like I was something to measure, not someone who had already been weighed down enough. Was I too calm? Too broken? Not broken enough? Their pen scratched answers before I finished speaking. Like they’d already decided what box I fit in— or didn’t. And I wondered if dignity was part of the exam, or just something I was expected to leave at the door. I walked out carrying more than I brought in, not papers, not results, just the weight of not being seen and still not believed. Autism and anxiety is choice apparently. If I could give zeros stars a would”

“During my very first session I explained my financial situation and they happily offered to waive my copay. I was blown away - that was extremely generous. Cut to six months later and I get hit with a massive bill (an accumulation of weekly sessions for six months). In my next session I inquired about the bill and they said they couldn't just waive copays and I needed to pay it. Point being - they are liars, they do not care. If you need help do not go here. You will not get it.”

“I wish I could give zero stars. Do not be fooled into thinking this establishment is professional in any way. Today I had two appointments, both of which were cancelled on the spot. We arrived for our first appointment, my husband and I, accidentally upstairs and not down. When we expressed our desire to get ourselves downstairs, we were YELLED AT by two or three secretaries, who were screaming that they could walk us down. When we arrived downstairs we were YELLED AT again by the secretary downstairs. Then we were told our appointments for that day would be cancelled. We feel lucky and will seek our mental healthcare elsewhere.”

“If you or your child are late by any means one minute late two minute late they cancel the appointment and bill you a very large cancellation fee at the psychiatrist themselves. Don’t show up. They bill you a cancellation fee attempting to call this institution. No one picks up. It’s always voicemail and if you do get a live person, they send you to another voicemail, Alisha, the psychiatrist needs to go back to school to find out what it means to take care of her patients. I will no longer take my daughter there. I will no longer recommend them. They do not have the best interest or medical necessity for my child, a person to take their child to this place to see the psychiatrist they themselves need to get their head checked. I will be and I would recommend everyone to check the American board of psychiatry. Alisha needs her board certification pulled for denial of critical care”
