What patients say on Google
“I wish I could give zero stars. I had an uncomfortable experience here, mainly due to interactions with management, and specifically the office manager, Melissa. The communication often felt dismissive, and often came across as rude and petty. It didn't feel like concerns were handled professionally. Not to mention that the owner got hung up on things that didn’t matter and made the environment intense. I also observed people, including the office MANAGER engaging in conversations that felt inappropriate for a workplace, including gossiping about others which is unprofessional, horrible, and ironic for a place that claims to care about mental health. Overall, it created an environment that felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I hope there can be improvements in professionalism and how both clients and employees are spoken about moving forward.”
“Visited this office for over a year paying my co-pay online. Showed up one day and was told I had to keep a card on file, which I do not care to do. Could not reach an agreement or be heard that I had spoke to the owner about my copay and had past precedent for operating without a card on file. I left after we were not reaching an agreement and pointed out before leaving that I was present and should not be charged the no-show fee. The office staff immediately charged the fee to my account. I tried to reach out to my therapist and the office staff intercepted my message to my care provider. I asked to be connected to the owner to dicuss the discrepancy and was ran off by the office manager. Terrible treatment from someplace posturing as concerned about mental health. Its about getting the money for this office. My copay was $15, I was treated like a problem.”
“Dr. Sheets denied an emergency refill for my wife's anti depressants. Forcing her to go through a process that takes weeks to get her meds. This is unacceptable and dangerous so not trust the people here, they just want your money.”
“Wow just wow. Over 2 weeks ago I started reaching out to their office to let my provider know that I was having a bad side effect from a new medication they prescribed. As is somewhat typical with their online portal, my messages were not responded to. When the issue became even worse, I reached out again over the portal (to multiple providers - including my own and the owner January Kim). I also reached out by phone, and left an urgent voicemail. In both instances, I asked to be called urgently. Instead, of a call, I received a text saying a nurse would call, but no one ever called. I stopped taking the medication as I had no medical support or supervision on what to do. I kept trying to reach them and received only another text saying my provider had contacted me, which she did not do. In fact, I never heard from her again. Then, after this unethical treatment, they had the nerve to send me a certified letter saying that they would no longer provide services. The letter also stated that they told me to stop the medication causing the side effect, but they never told me that. I'm guessing they included that falsehood in the letter to try to avoid legal issues. What an absolutely terrible thing to do to a patient. No one has ever even bothered to call me through all of this, even though I repeatedly asked to be called via text and through their broken portal. This organization sadly lacks the professionalism, infrastructure and ethics needed to safely care for their patients.”
